Mr. Gora Sengupta

Cofounder and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Gora Sengupta, holds an MTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Madras and a BTech degree in Electronics from IIT Kanpur. As Research Care Pty Ltd’s CEO, he brings a wealth of corporate management experience gathered over 40 years, to the forefront of strategic decision-making. Formerly leading Trustwave’s Global Cybersecurity Operations Centre in Sydney, Gora has demonstrated experience in navigating complex technical issues in a highly sensitive customer environment. His leadership and technical acumen have been instrumental in safeguarding digital infrastructure and data on a global scale. With a commitment to technical innovation and excellence in customer service, he now continues to drive impactful initiatives in the realm of Healthcare and other industries, by utilising the synergies of advanced sensing technologies, electronics, networks and AI techniques.

Mr. Rahul Aggarwal

Finance Director

Rahul did his MBA and MA (Economics) from the University of Chicago. He has 30 years of experience in a variety of corporate finance, structured finance, investment-related and entrepreneurial roles.

Rahul was founder and former Head of Capital Markets at Underline, a US-based infrastructure asset manager. Prior to Underline, Rahul was a Managing Director at the Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, the fourth-largest US mutual life insurance company, where he helped form Corporate Finance Solutions to serve internal investment banking, consulting and strategic needs of Guardian.

Rahul started his career in corporate finance at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, then transitioned to venture capital/private equity at Frontenac Company and thereafter, fixed income structured finance sales and trading at UBS.

Rahul also helped start a pioneering software as a service (SaaS) technology company in the San Francisco-bay area in the late 1990s, and two start-up insurance-related specialty finance companies in New York City.

Dr. Partha P Kanjilal

Cofounder and Chief Scientist

Partha P. Kanjilal, PhD, is a distinguished scholar with a stellar academic background, including a PhD from Sheffield University and postdoctoral research at Oxford University. As Research Care Pty Ltd’s Chief Scientist, he leads groundbreaking research initiatives at the forefront of data sciences in various applications including Healthcare. With past roles as a Visiting Scientist at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Partha has contributed significantly to interdisciplinary research at the intersection of medicine and technology. His tenure as an Ex-Professor at IIT Kharagpur India underscores his commitment to academic excellence and knowledge dissemination. Additionally, Partha is an accomplished author, sharing insights and expertise in his field through scholarly publications. His versatile career experience and expertise in the application of predictive data analytics in global Investment Banking, mark him as a prominent figure to lead Data Sciences and AI based innovations in industry.

Mr. Kishore Karunakaran

Strategic Adviser

Kishore did his MBA from the Booth School of Business of the University of Chicago, and he did his Masters in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Sydney. He was the the Managing Director of State Street Global Advisors and part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Prior to joining SSGA, Kishore was a principal at FDO Partners, a multi-strategy hedge fund. Prior to FDO Partners, Kishore cofounded Quantshares, an ETF issuer focused on liquid alternatives. Kishore was also a Director at Platinum Grove Asset Management, LP - one of two spin-offs from Long-Term Capital Management.

Prior to joining Platinum Grove, Kishore was a Vice President in the Global Stock Selection team at AQR Capital Management, LLC. Prior to joining AQR, Kishore was tenured once again at SSGA as a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Active Quantitative Equities Group.

Before his first role at SSGA, Kishore has also co-founded a business focused on macroeconomic research with professors from MIT, Cambridge University and UC Berkeley.Kishore has 26 years experience in Finance and Asset Management.

Dr. Sangeeta Aditya

Medtech Strategy Advisor

Sangeeta did her PhD from Calcutta University and did post doctoral research at Oxford University. She brings over 18 years of diverse experience spanning scientific research, corporate management, and industrial manufacturing in biotech and MedTech sectors. Her expertise extends to teaching, clinical laboratory environments, and strategic initiatives in the health industry. With a background in collaborative work in Health Science, MedTech, Lab Management, and DNA research administration, she excels in executing high-end deep-tech products. Notably, her tenure at the University of Oxford and as a senior scientist at Evonetix Ltd, UK, underscores her interdisciplinary prowess. Passionate about promoting women-led healthcare startups, she fosters inclusive growth through mentorship and fundraising. Dr. Aditya's initiatives, like AusBridge, forge partnerships for gender parity in STEM, reflecting her commitment to driving positive change.

Dr. Soumitro Pal

Chief Medical Advisor

Soumitro is an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School, Boston. He received his Ph.D. in Physiology from University of Calcutta and did his post-doctoral research in Tumor Biology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School. His laboratory is primarily focused on identifying novel therapeutic targets in renal cancer. One of the main focuses of his research is to identify molecular mechanisms of cancer growth in organ transplant patients. He is a prolific researcher with wide-ranging publication records. Soumitro is also the Chair in Medicine in Boston Children’s Hospital, and the Associate Director of Research in the Division of Nephrology in Boston Children’s Hospital.

Mr Anjan Gupta

Head Quality Assurance

Anjan Gupta is a seasoned Quality Assurance professional with over three decades of experience in systems integration domains. He has consistently delivered high-quality outcomes across complex projects for major clients in the telecommunications and Defence space.

Anjan brings deep expertise in test lifecycle management, engineering governance, and process improvement, underpinned by certifications in ISTQB Advanced Test Management, PRINCE2, and CMMI. His leadership in defining and implementing QA frameworks and his role in achieving CMMI appraisals for large delivery organisations reflect his commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in product quality and compliance.
